This image is the perfect embodiment of Socialism.
Let's take this picture apart.
You are approached by a beautiful woman, way above your league. She is totally focused on you. She is dressed very alluringly. She is very clear, she wants you, only you, and invites you back to her place with the promise of a night (or more) of maximum intimacy.
And so, intoxicated by her beauty, her promises, the alcohol you had with her in the bar, and maybe a roofie or two in your drink, you follow her home.
And when you wake up in the morning, *IF* you wake up in the morning, you find yourself in a tub filled with ice. There is a burner phone on a table next to the tub, with a note that says, "DO NOT GET UP. Call this number for medical help, the address is..."
All this means is, you were told beautiful promises, and none of those happened. Instead, you have found yourself violated, used and in a situation that you may not survive. You should consider yourself lucky that they only wanted one kidney. Because hearts, lungs, and corneas are also organs in constant demand. For liver transplants, you only need a sliver of it. Livers, being a gland, regrow. Which means one whole liver can help a half-dozen people.
And Socialism is the same. You are sold promises of equality and equity, everyone works for the Common Good. When you sign up and actually get there, you find out the government doesn't just own the means of production, they own you. You do what you're told, when you're told to do it and how to do it. Mouth off and you'll be lucky if you get a bullet in the back of the head. Because the alternative is you are worked to death.
