Three reasons why I don't have an iPhone.

I have a personal BlackBerry that I get company emails on, and the company only recently said the iPhone was secure enough to receive company emails.

Two, I get a company discount on my Verizon phone through the company.

Three, I _hate_ AT&T, and it started all the way back when they were Cingular. I have been happy on Verizon now for 8+years.

"Well, you're kinda pathetic too, since you can't use the Kings English properly. You've also got a few things wrong."
Unless this is a subtle poke at one's self, you ought remember the King's English yourself.
1. No apostrophe in King's English.
2. Your use of the contraction "you've" with the word "got" establishes improper grammar. Like the old PA license plate i had to endure, "you have got" is grammatically incorrect; besides, it's silly. The rules are the same for the contractions.
Also, while some of your points are very salient (thank you for demonstrating some thoughtfulness in the "Right") your talk about Bush's bravery is more like the inelegant use of ALL CAPS and profanity that you blasted; it's not objective or fact based. Do you know that very often there is a comorbidity of "lack of common sense" and "thrill seeking" with those who are perceived by some (under isolated circumstances) as having the trait called "bravery?"
i'd rather have a cautious, open minded, empathetic and patient president than a "brave" one.
And here is my emotionally charged contribution:
"Oh, that might be too brave of the Republidemocraticans to even nominate such a person."
Yes, i'm independent. Yes, it sucks. Yes, i voted for Nader in the first of Bush's runs (but didn't the second time because i recognize that after the first Bush term, the rest of the government and the country would not accept Nader's "extreme left" plans and views even if he somehow won; which would mean he can't win for trying).
Just so you know, anger is often the result of impotence to make change over the things that affect a person or people, such as when your vote seems not to make a damn bit of sense in our Representational Republic. It continues to annoy the crap out of me that people keep harping on about Democracy when this nation does not have one and no such thing is going to come out of our non-democratic system. Times have changed. The "common man" is more educated than when the Representational Republic was chosen. The technology to collect people's votes, from all corners, accurately, is here. Instead, the style of capitalism in our country is driving the media into dumbing down its audience and the technology is largely unused and is abused when used.
Okay. Rant over.
As i said, i do appreciate your salient points and it lets me know that not all Republicans/Democrats are self delusional or liars when promoting their perspectives (which, to my eyes, don't seem to differ at any time other than primaries and debates).
Okay... one more subjective and emotionally charged comment, because it's fun (which is probably why you did the brave comment about Bush):
"Okay, yes, 'the other guy' was kind of unattractive... but have you ever SEEN Lincoln??"
have a good [insert thing here]

It certainly has not been the first time, and unfortunately probably will not be the last time, Democratic organizations and people have resorted to adapting and exploiting images to somehow make their case "stronger"... at least until the offense comes to light.
Perhaps they intended "get involved" to mean "go to Canada, and maybe join the military there", like they all threatened in years past (at least the first part) :).

I can't agree with you and your quoted author's opinion more. If someone (GW & Blur) would make a feature length movie or even "episodes" on DVD using the technology and quality of the Dawn of War trailer/open I would snap it up in a heart beat. Going forward they would have a near endless supply of storyline as each movie or episode would fail to capture the width and breadth of the 40k universe.

Mark,
I apprecieate how you write about 40k with the assumption that your audience doesn't know anything about our hobby.
Congratulations on doing so well in the tournament.
I'd have to agree with Mike, I'd have taken a lap dance over a Lord of the Rings miniature any day. That is, assuming the lap dance didn't take place at the game store...
Later,
Jon

Not likely, or you would have pointed it out, but couldn't he have rushed your Devastators and overwhelmed them? Or perhaps "ignored" them long enough for some of his units to earn their points before being destroyed by your Devastators?
Regardless, congratulations.
I played two 2250pt games last night; my Tau vs. a friend's Eldar. He tried out a Sam Hain list. Game one, Cities of Death, Omega level which he surrendered at the end of turn 3. Game two, regular victory points, where he surrendered at the end of turn 2. Several factors: he doesn't play 40k often enough, unfamiliar with nuances of Sam Hain list. Sam Hain list not the best in CoD, particularly not against a shooty Tau gunline. 2250 points let me break out a lot of toys.
Enjoy,
Jon

I like the newer look. Particularly the change from red bolters to black.
Yeah, that gap is pretty big. Better get that fixed sooner than later.
Overall, yes, keep updating. Summarizing what you said in a previous post, you'll get less grief in tournaments.

Mark,
I'm about to embark down a similar path. I have been assembling models for several weeks and am preparing to paint them as Ultramarines. Initially I was planning to wetbrush Regal Blue and paint Ultramarines Blue. When I realized that I didn't want to paint 100+ models this way I turned to the UM spray. Oops, totally different color. So now I either go with the lighter spray or take the time to make the paint pot color work with my airbrush. I actually like the lighter color but it doesn't contrast well with the Goblin Green edging I'm doing for 4th Company. Bummer.
So did you replace the models? Or strip and repaint existing?
Jon
