…just happened. I was just offered a job that would get me off of my Social Security Disability pay. Of course I accepted, and my starting pay is $5,000 more than what I asked for.
My life just took a major change for the better. The last time I had such a major change in my life was when I crawled into the closet and started screaming. I am getting paid more than at any time in my life and I don’t know what to do with it. Actually I do, but I feel weird today.
Anyhow, the job starts on the 1st of December. Anyway, I am looking forward to it with much anticipation.

Remember this day
And so, on the eleventh hour, or the eleventh day, or the eleventh month, the guns fell silent and the Great War ended. A war that involved all of the major powers of the World, along with new and terrifying new weapons which allowed the mass butchering of men on a scale previously unheard of since the American Civil War.
Remember this day, for today we celebrate and give thanks to those who have served and are around to accept the thanks of a grateful nation. These men and women have gone on to war, and while most of them have come back, not all of them are the people who left to go to war. The traumatic events that our soldiers have gone through have changed them. Their reflexes are different and they do not view the world as the normal civilian does.
Today, give thanks to the troops. Even if you don’t approve of the war, please support the troops through websites such as Any Soldier.
To my fellow veterans, be they Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and others, Thank You for standing on that wall that protects us from our enemies.
