Air America update
The proof is in the pudding.
Air America is and has sucked hind teat when it comes to ratings, all across the nation. It cannot commercially sustain itself. It cannot pay its own way. The way Conservative radio goes, is the radio stations pay for shows like Rush, Hannity and Glenn Beck to be broadcast by their stations. The shows also charge for advertisements on their shows. People who are interested in shows like these buy the products advertised by the show. The radio station also plays its own commericals to make money. This is how everyone involved makes money. People listen to the show because it's what they want to hear.
Air America isn't like that. They pay the radio stations to take them. They have such small audiences that no one is interested in what they have to say, so no advertisers put their advertisements on that network. No one really makes money and it will eventually collapse.
But, however, Air America has been bought out by a New York real estate developer. So the network will continue for at least a while more.
But other bad news. Al Frankin has decided to leave the network on Valentines Day to pursue a career in politics. He wants to run for the Senate in Minnesota. Who knows, he just might get elected. It's quite the Liberal state, maybe they've heard of him there.
Anyway, Air America is running more like a PBS station with fund raisers to keep it open. No one on a national level wants to hear "BUSH LIED" for years, especially when it's not true. Or, if it is, then Clinton, the British, and even the French lied as well.
They have a statistically insignificant network with 86 stations, Dave Ramsey has over 300 and he's not even a political show!
