Air America update

The proof is in the pudding.
Air America is and has sucked hind teat when it comes to ratings, all across the nation. It cannot commercially sustain itself. It cannot pay its own way. The way Conservative radio goes, is the radio stations pay for shows like Rush, Hannity and Glenn Beck to be broadcast by their stations. The shows also charge for advertisements on their shows. People who are interested in shows like these buy the products advertised by the show. The radio station also plays its own commericals to make money. This is how everyone involved makes money. People listen to the show because it’s what they want to hear.
Air America isn’t like that. They pay the radio stations to take them. They have such small audiences that no one is interested in what they have to say, so no advertisers put their advertisements on that network. No one really makes money and it will eventually collapse.
But, however, Air America has been bought out by a New York real estate developer. So the network will continue for at least a while more.
But other bad news. Al Frankin has decided to leave the network on Valentines Day to pursue a career in politics. He wants to run for the Senate in Minnesota. Who knows, he just might get elected. It’s quite the Liberal state, maybe they’ve heard of him there.
Anyway, Air America is running more like a PBS station with fund raisers to keep it open. No one on a national level wants to hear “BUSH LIED” for years, especially when it’s not true. Or, if it is, then Clinton, the British, and even the French lied as well.
They have a statistically insignificant network with 86 stations, Dave Ramsey has over 300 and he’s not even a political show!

I could be back

Don’t hold your breath, but I could be back. Not because I’m riled up at something or another, but that I think I need this blog to talk about things. I like showing off my paint jobs, and things like that.
So it’s time to start checking me out again. Don’t be surprised if you see another post tomorrow.

I saw this and had to laugh

And laugh I did. I’ll let Barack Obama speak for himself:

“The arguments of liberals are more often grounded in reason and fact,” the Illinois Democrat wrote in “The Audacity of Hope,” a memoir published last year.

If Liberal stances were grounded in fact, then why are Conservative ideas and positions shouted down instead of discussed rationally? Why is Godwin’s Law (the first one to lose the argument calls the other a Nazi) invoked almost every time? I have (not my positions) been called Facist, Warmonger, Nazi, and so many others. While I attack their positions, they attack me personally.
Here is but one thing on which Liberals are wrong: Raising taxes brings in more revenue to the government. Let’s take a look at that for a moment. Kennedy, Reagan and our current president all cut taxes. The result of that was more income to the treasury. Twice as much in the first two cases, I don’t know how much revenues are up with this administration. Carter, Bush 41 and Clinton all raised taxes. They had horrific economies, and the higher taxes resulted in less income to the treasury. W inhereted a Recession from Clinton. What has the economy done since the taxes were cut? It’s boomed! Sustained growth after growth has happened.
The evidence is irrefutable to anybody with open eyes. So why do Liberals like to tax us to death? Why, that way when the economy crashes, they can come to the “rescue” with government programs to “help” us. Things like “targeted tax breaks” where no one can take advantage of said tax breaks because there are too many hoops to jump through to make it worthwhile.
I use this as a signature on one of my message boards: “You Liberals will never understand Conservatives. All we want to do is homestead a piece of land, make money, keep the money we make and shoot bad guys.”
No one here has cornered the market on reason and logic, but the Liberals show a whole lot less than they should.
