Another hypocritical Liberal

Hm. It seems that the distinguished former Senator from North Carolina, John Edwards was caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Again.

Senator Edwards, which has campaigned against Wal-Mart with such things as here, John Edwards on campaign trail again, this time against Wal-Mart, got caught.

In the article above article, Senator Edwards is clearly against everything Wal-Mart stands for. But then this press release comes from Bentonville:

BENTONVILLE, Ark. – Nov. 16, 2006 – Just like the millions of Americans who turn to their neighborhood Wal-Mart for their holiday shopping needs, Wal-Mart announced today that former Sen. John Edwards is seeking to be one of the first to get a Sony PlayStation3, one of the most coveted holiday gift items this Christmas season.

Yesterday, a staff person for former Sen. Edwards contacted a Wal-Mart electronics manager in Raleigh, North Carolina to obtain a Sony PlayStation3 on behalf of the Senator's family. Later that night, Sen. Edwards reportedly re-told a homespun story to participants of a United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) union-sponsored call about how his son had chided a fellow student for purchasing shoes at Wal-Mart.

Now, just doesn't that beat all? Here he is, campaigning against Wal-Mart, and then being the elitist Liberal he is, wants special privileges at a Wal-Mart to get something for his kid. He's worse than a Liberal, he's a line cutter!

So here he is, campaigning against Wal-Mart, then sends a staffer into Wal-Mart (so he isn't seen going in) to get something, because of the low prices he is campaigning against! Just more of the "for me, but not for thee" miindset of the Liberal.
