Nope, I really don’t see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the security details, 85-year old people with metal hips, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling. Let’s send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldreds and other dunder-headed attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, feel doubly ashamed of themselves — if they have any such sense. As the writer of the award winning story “Forrest Gump” so aptly put it, “Stupid is as stupid does.”

I participated in a tournament last Saturday, and I’ve been too busy to enter it before now.
This was a “Cities of Death” tournament, where you have stratagems that you include in your army list for free, the number depending on what level of complexity the scenario is. We used two stratagems each in all of the games. Mine was Wrecker and Ammo Dump. The first one gave my Dreadnoughts the ability to destroy any building they came in contact with on a 4+ on a d6, or 50% chance. Ammo Dump gave any unit in that particular building the ability to re-roll misses.
My first match was against John and his Orks, in a scenario called Domination. The object was to hold as many buildings as possible. John took the “sewer Rats” stratagem and something else. The sewer rats allowed him to place a variable amount of markers anywhere on the board and bring his troops up through those sewer openings. The bad news was, by the time that he could start bringing troops on, I had all but one entrance covered. So, he could only bring one unit on at a time. I had the one building with a sewer opening covered from every angle, and had a nice killing field set up all around it. All he could do was hide behind the building. At the end of the game, I had five buildings in my control, he had one. On top of that, I lost one Marine to a Plasma overheat, and one Rhino from him shooting at it.
Match number two was against Martin and his Tyranids. The scenario was High Ground, where you had to have control of the highest level of the building in the center of the board. It was a hard fought battle, but I managed to take the top of the building in the bottom of turn 6 by consolidation after killing off a Carnifex. This consolidation move gave me 200 victory points, which managed to eke a draw out of a defeat. The high point of the battle was when a weaponless dreadnought managed to do three wounds on that Carnifex mentioned above. He did two wounds by kicking the ‘fex, then when the ‘fex struck back, he blew up the Dreadnought, doing a third wound to the ‘fex.
Match number three was against Bodee and his Imperial Guard. This scenario was Urban Assault, where you had to protect your command building, while at the same time you had to try and take your opponents command building. I was holding my own, despite losing my HQ in a fight because I forgot to charge a unit into his HQ squad. I managed to get a Dreadnought into close combat with his HQ squad and tie it up for three turns. He kept hitting that Dreadnought, but he could never get a killing blow to it. That frustrated him to no end. What killed me was I invaded his command building at the bottom of turn 5. Time was called at that point, but he wanted to get in one more turn, “real quick.” He managed to bring a squad around and destroy the squad I had in his building, costing me the game.
I ended up in 8th place out of 20, a respectable showing, but I feel I could have won it because I was only 11 points off the guy who won the tournament. If I had managed to win that game, I think I could have won overall. I didn’t get any prizes, someone had a better painted army than I did, and Best Sportsman went down to multiple tie breakers. So I didn’t get a prize, but I think I’m getting better at these tournaments.
Wish me luck next month.

Well, the American Communist Liberties Union has managed to strike again. Judge Rules Terrorist Surveillance Program Unconstitutional.
Judge Anna Diggs Taylor has struck down the NSA wiretapping program. The ACLU and CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) jointly brought to suit to the Jimmy Carter appointed judge.
I will admit, When this came out, I was initially against it. But I changed my position when I learned that ALL of the former judges of the FISA program all testified before Congress and said that what President Bush is doing is within the law.
I now believe this is a essential piece of the war on terror. I believe that this program was part of the uncovering of the liquid bombers plot. We’ll never know because to tell that would reveal intelligence gathering methods that the terrorists would then circumvent.
To reiterate, this program is about international calls from known terrorist phones made to calls within the United States. It is international spying, not domestic. Besides, no one made a peep when Clinton had the Echelon program, spying on his enemies in the US phone calls using this program.

My apologies for not posting as often as I should, but things are happening very quickly here. I have a series of talks that I am starting today.
I also have to get ready for a tournament on Saturday, and a Blood Bowl league is starting next month, and I have to prepare for that as well.
I got to fly my Garth R on the J350 that I loaded for Southern Thunder, and the only glitch was it fired as soon as I activated the pad, which it wasn’t supposed to do. The unexpected lift-off scared the stuffing out of everybody, but the flight was successful, so I can’t complain too much.
I am also getting nominated for a board for one of the coalitions here in Memphis, I’ll tell you about that one if I get it.
I have also been talking to businesses, part of my mandate, and have been 100% successful to date, so I’m happy about that as well.
I have also been working on getting a home so my family and I can reconcile, and be together again after almost 4 years.
So, as you can see, I have been extremely busy and haven’t had time for this blog. I don’t see a let up in my schedule any time soon, but I promise to do my best to find something to post about.

If you haven’t heard about it by now, Reuters posted a photo that was manipulated by Adnan Hajj, in a rather crude attempt in PhotoShop.
While Reuters pulled the photo and replaced it with the “original,” from what I understand, it was rather obvious, so why it wasn’t caught by the fact checking process (or whatever they use) I don’t know, unless they knew it was modified and they still ran with it anyway.
This would not surprise me, as the major news operations of this country have done their best to manipulate us, the American people. The media has, for the longest time, done their best to shave the truth, if not out and out lie to get the American people to think the way they want us to think.
And you wonder why Liberals can’t be honest?

Dear Civilians,
We know that the current state of affairs in our great nation have many civilians up in arms and excited to join the military. For those of you who can’t join, you can still lend a hand. Here are a few of the areas we would like your assistance with:
The next time you see an adult talking (or wearing a hat) during the playing of the National Anthem … kick their ass.
When you witness firsthand someone burning the American Flag in protest… kick their ass.
Regardless of the rank they held while they served, pay the highest amount of respect to all veterans. If you see anyone doing otherwise, quietly pull them aside and explain how these Veterans fought for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them on the many sacrifices these Veterans made to make this Nation great. Then hold them down while a Disabled Veteran kicks their ass.
(GUYS) If you were never in the military, DO NOT pretend that you were. Wearing battle dress uniforms (BDU’s), telling others that you used to be “Special Forces,” and collecting GI Joe memorabilia, might have been okay if you were still seven. Now, it will only make you look stupid and get your ass kicked.
Next time you come across an Air Force member, do not ask them, “Do you fly a jet?” Not everyone in the Air Force is a pilot. Such ignorance deserves an ass kicking (children are exempt).
If you witness someone calling the U.S. Coast Guard non military, inform them of their mistake…and kick their ass.
Roseanne Barr’s singing of the National Anthem is not a blooper…it was a disgrace and disrespectful. Laugh, and sooner or later your ass will be kicked.
Next time Old Glory (U.S. flag) prances by during a parade, get on your damn feet and pay homage to her by placing your hand over your heart. Quietly thank the military member or veteran lucky enough to be carrying her…of course, failure to do either of those could earn you a severe ass kicking.
What Jane Fonda did during the Vietnam War makes her the enemy. The proper word to describe her is “traitor.” Just mention her nomination for “Woman of the Year” and get your ass kicked.
Don’t try to discuss politics with a military member or a veteran. We are Americans and we all bleed the same regardless of our party affiliation. Our Chain of Command, is to include our commander in Chief. The President (for those who didn’t know) is our CIC regardless of political party. We have no inside track on what happens inside those big important buildings where all those representatives meet. All we know is that when those civilian representatives screw up the situation, they call upon the military to go straighten it out. The military member might direct you to Oliver North. (I can see him kicking your ass already.)
“Your mama wears combat boots” never made sense to me … stop saying it! If she did, she would most likely be a vet and probably kick your ass!
Bin Laden and the Taliban are not communists, so stop saying “Let’s go kill those Commie’s!!!” And stop asking us where he is!!!! Crystal balls are not standard issue in the military. That reminds me … if you see anyone calling those damn psychic phone numbers; let me know, so I can go kick their ass.
Flyboy (Air Force), Jar Head (Marines), Grunt (Army), Squid (Navy) etc, are terms of endearment we use describing each other. Unless you are a service member or vet, you have not earned the right to use them. Could get your ass kicked.
Last but not least, whether or not you become a member of the military, support our troops and their families. Every Thanksgiving and religious holiday that you enjoy with family and friends please remember that there are, literally, thousands of sailors and troops far from home wishing they could be with their families. Thank God for our military and the sacrifices they make every day. Without them, our country would get its ass kicked

I was driving with my son to our weekly wargaming night yesterday, and I saw several instances of idiot drivers. And I mean turning right from the middle lane, diving across two lanes of highway to hit an exit, driving on the emergency lane and the list goes on.
I was reminded by all of this typical Memphis driving by an idea of a friend many years ago. Drivers go to the police station, and for $50 you pick up three serialized “darts.” Instead of a sharp point, it has a bulb of special cement that only the police have the solvent for it. If an idiot driver does something unsafe in front of you, you merely drive up next to him and hit the bad driver with a dart.
After the driver has his 3rd dart removed, he gets a $50 ticket for being an asshole.

Today is Voting Day in Shelby County and Memphis. If you haven’t early voted, VOTE RIGHT NOW. This is a God-given privilege, and if you don’t exercise it, you have no room to complain when people you don’t like get elected.
Military men and women are dying all over the world to keep the idea of a free society in place here, and elsewhere. Don’t let their deaths be a vain one.

The headline says it all: Rep. Rangel to retire if Dems falter
Old Charlie is threatening to retire if Democrats don’t take back the house this November.

“I’m a poker player and I’ve had good hands all night long. This is all in,” Rangel said in an interview. “I would not put everything on the table if I thought for one minute we would lose.”

Even if the Dems don’t take back control, I don’t think he will surrender his seat. He likes it too much. Besides, with threats from Alec Baldwin and Eddie Vedder to move to France if W won a second term (they didn’t), I know how well Liberals are with carrying out their word.

You know, there are things in this world that I want, but I know they will never come true. One of them being consistency from Liberals.
You know how they yell and scream about pollution, like leaving trash around, damaging the environment. Not only is it ugly, but it’s a health and fire hazard as well. Liberals scream bloody murder when someone leaves a gum wrapper laying around, but when it comes to illegals crossing the border, well then it’s all right. Don’t ask me why it’s all right for illegals to cause $62.9 Million worth of cleanup in Arizona alone, but it’s okay with the Liberals.
This would be like the Catholics saying, “THIS IS A MORTAL SIN. Except for the people of Philadelphia, they came in first in the scrap iron drive!” I believe the term is “Special Dispensation.”
While Liberals are causing much damage to this country by their antics, they wouldn’t be as much fun poking at them with a stick like this.
