Kelo Strikes again
Well, I just learned about the latest abuse of the Kelo decision, where government can, through Eminent Domain, yank ownership of property from one private owner and give it to another private owner. Instead of building roads, parks and Government buildings, they pass ownership to developers who generally build high end housing to improve the tax base.
Well, the city of Hercules, CA has invoked it's Eminent Domain "right" and yanked the property that Wal-Mart had intended to build a store on.
Such is the depth to which people will go to stop Wal-Mart. I have an interest in this, as I think this action by the City of Hercules is heinous. This must not be allowed to happen.
