I’m actually feeling human this morning, not with the morning drag I have been feeling for the past couple of weeks. Still nothing to report on in the news that hasn’t already been hashed out.
But I do have some good news. And no, I didn’t switch my car insurance to Geico.
Remember the post a while back where I hinted at a FLGS? For those of you who didn’t Google FLGS, it stands for Friendly Local Gaming Store. Yes, a new store is opening up in Memphis (actually Bartlett) for those of us who game. I just got hold of a flyer yesterday, and it says they plan to open on April 1st. No Web presence as yet, but hopefully that will change.
This store will allow for the playing of non-Games Workshop games. Which, at present, is the only game in town, if you excuse the pun.
I personally plan on giving this store all of the business I can. I want it to succeed, simply because it’s closer to my place than the Bunker, and it will allow me to play games other than Epic, Battlefleet Gothic and Warhammer 40k.
