Much ado about nothing

Well, it seems that MSM attention is not the be all and end all they would like to think they are.

James Risen opened a firestorm when he broke the news about "illegal" wiretaps by the Bush Administration. This was closely followed by a book release, "State of War," and his tour throughout the MSM. He appeared on 60 Minutes, Meet the Press, and probably several other shows that I am not aware of. A lot of ballyhoo, noise and consternation.

And what has that brought him? A dismal 21,000 copies sold. Harry Potter sells more than that in an hour. It seems that from what America has seen on TV, they're not interested in what he has to say.

Which just goes to show, it's not the sizzle, it's the steak.
