This one is about basically RFIDing license plates, then tracking the vehicle wherever it goes. And portable detectors will sniff out the antique car you keep in the garage and gig you for not having insurance on a car you don't drive.

This comes from a country that licenses your TV, and drives around looking for unlicensed TV's.

Is Great Britain a fantastic country or what? But it's what you get when you don't have a document such as the Constitution declaring what the government can and, more importantly, cannot do.

But we are heading this way as well, although not quite as pell-mell as Britain is.

But we must always keep watch on our freedoms, lest the government steal them from us in the guise of 'protection.'
