A day late and a dollar short
Well, John Kerry finally got in on the Katrina thing. John Kerry's Katrina Aid Arrives Late.
John Kerry sure didn't want to get left out of the photo op for this one. He coordinated the donation of 5,000 bottles of baby formula, 5,000 pairs of sneakers and an array of cleaning supplies. He got people to donate everything, including the Boston's Children's Hospital, the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans and the New Balance sneaker company. UPS donated the use of the 757, the fuel and the crew.
This would have been a great donation, if it had come about a week earlier. Now, the evacuees have been dispersed throughout the southern states, and it is very unlikely that this stuff will see its' intended use for some time, if at all.
But the point of all of this, is a Billion dollar man like John Kerry could have actually used some of his (wife's) own money. He could have easily bought everything with this weeks allowance, including the transportation.
So, Lieutenant "Reporting for Duty" Kerry (who served in Vietnam, dontchaknow) screws the pooch, again. What could have been a wonderful and kind gesture becomes another Liberal boondoggle. Between Kerry and Sean Penn, you get the feeling that Liberals are worthless.
I am hopeful that there are many Liberal organizations out there who are donating time, money and materials to ease the suffering and help in the rebuilding effort. The important difference is they are not tripping over themselves to get in front of a camera to show how wonderful they are. There is a difference between raising awareness and actually getting your hands dirty in the work that needs to be done.
If you have the time or money, please donate it.

I am so thrilled to read another reaLLY REAlly stupid blog by a conservative head-up-the-butt.
No brains but you've got the time to post crap.
Nice.

Hey, conservative clown, "its'" is incorrect. "It's" is a contraction of "it is" and "its" is the possessive without an apostrophe. Too busy reading some conservative pun(shithead)dit, to learn the rules?

Kerry got other people involved. That's what a good politician does, dummy. Sure, he could give away his WIFE's money, right? Are you kidding, fool? It's his wife's money!!!
And you have no idea, (keeping your head up your ass), how much the Kerry's privately contribute, do you? How much did Laura Bush give to Katrina victims? Huh? Or that old grey haired shrew Barbara Bush, of all their oil millions? How much???? Huh? Don't know? Zero. Zip. Nada.

First of all, thanks for the comments. I guess you didn't see me reach out my hand in friendship to you Liberals, eh? So I pull back a bloody stump. I'll learn better next time.
Swiftboats4crap, if you would please point me to where there is proof of any donations that Senator Kerry has made, I would be glad to look them over. From your own words, it sounds like they didn't contribute anything either...
One thing I would like to note, I leave my name and real email address on all of the comments I leave, I wonder why you guys can't?

Wow, it is 12:26 am in the morning and I am in disbelief.
I am sitting here debating with my republican boyfriend who thinks that President Bush did everything right and that Katrina victims did well despite the lack of immediate reprieve. I just read your joke of an article...are you kidding me right now???
So, tell me again when help arrived in New Orleans... on behalf of the Bush's Administration... right away right??? And not two weeks late??? Kerry on the other hand, who last time I checked wasn't president or moreover, running the country...HUM? He on the more humane side of things...found help through outside organizations (that liberals do best) and organized it in a way that it actually helped people in New Orleans. By the way...let me make this clear...I did donate my own contribution as well. I am an MSW student at Simmons College in Boston, Mass. I am quite honestly concerned with the negative amount of publicity given to kerry, considering the tumultuous course of events lead by the conservatives and their fearless leader. (Is that the best you can do?...OH...Where were our military??????????? Thats right in Iraq...OOPS!
