More WMD found!

The headline says it all. Polish Troops Find Sarin Warheads in Iraq. The press is spinning it as to “We don’t know what era they came from…” The fact is they were there. You want WMD, you got it. Don’t let the press qualify it. Everybody said Saddam had the stuff, and here’s the proof. It doesn’t matter when the stuff was there, he had it, and that’s all that matters.

Cos gives them both barrels

A while back Bill Cosby blasted black people for putting themselves into the situation they are in.

“I can’t even talk the way these people talk, ‘Why you ain’t,’ ‘Where you is’ … and I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk,” Cosby said then. “And then I heard the father talk … Everybody knows it’s important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can’t be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth.”

Well, he’s back and this time he brought the Reverend Jesse Jackson with him. Cosby’s Harsh Words. Bill gives it to them again:

Cosby lamented that the racial slurs once used by those who lynched blacks are now a favorite expression of black children. And he blamed parents.

“When you put on a record and that record is yelling ‘n—– this and n—– that’ and you’ve got your little 6-year-old, 7-year-old sitting in the back seat of the car, those children hear that,” he said.

I didn’t think he could top that, until he said this:

“You’ve got to stop beating up your women because you can’t find a job, because you didn’t want to get an education and now you’re (earning) minimum wage,” Cosby said. “You should have thought more of yourself when you were in high school, when you had an opportunity.”

And for once I’m with the Reverend Jackson on this one.

“Bill is saying let’s fight the right fight, let’s level the playing field,” Jackson said. “Drunk people can’t do that. Illiterate people can’t do that.”

There is a ton of help out there for people to better themselves, but you have to put in the work to do it and it’s going to be hard. Nothing worth having is ever easy.

Opinion from The Colonel

A wonderful op-ed piece from Col. Ollie North, Knowing the Enemy.

It starts out:

The ancient Chinese warrior Sun Tzu taught his men to “know your enemy” before going into battle. For if “you know your enemy and know yourself,” he wrote, “you need not fear the result of a hundred battles.”

So true, so true. It ends even better:

The War on Terror cannot be won until Americans have a common understanding of who the enemy is. And as long as Democrats target the Bush administration — not the terrorists — as the enemy, we are in trouble.

The middle is even better. Read on.

Right down there with P E T A

A couple of months back I ran a picture of a “comic book” from P E T A that showed a housewife butchering a scared bunny for it’s pelt. Blood was flying everywhere and the mother had a look of absolute glee. Here it is.

Today’s Page Six from the New York Post has this entry:

July 2, 2004 — A SHOCKING image of a blood-spattered President Bush devouring a headless child is causing an uproar. The drawing by sculptor Richard Serra, based on a painting by Goya, is being used to promote pleasevote.com, billed as “a call to vote the Bush administration out of office.” It appears on the back cover of The Nation’s July 5 issue. Ironically, Serra, a past recipient of NEA grants, was once praised by First Lady Laura Bush in a White House press release about one of his pieces at a Texas museum. His “Tilted Arc” once graced (or defaced) Federal Plaza in lower Manhattan until it was destroyed in 1989. Pundit Andrew Sullivan labeled the Bush image “an obscenity” and “simple demonization.”

Isn’t it refreshing to see logical discourse and thoughtful dissent from the Left? I’ll see if I can’t get a copy and scan it in to make it available for viewing. I want you to see how sick and perverted this bastard is.
